On the 5th of December, the “SAUM International Day” took place at the State Agrarian University of Moldova. Its main goal was acquaintance of participants with culture and traditions of the countries, what representatives are studying at our University. The students from Azerbaijan, China, Israel, Romania, Ukraine and Moldova surprised visitors with diversity of their cuisine, impressed the public with traditional songs and dances. The performance of Azerbaijan’s students was the most remarkable. They encored for several times due to their enchanting dances. They were supported by the counselor of embassy of Azerbaijan in RM, Ilham AGHAYEV, the president of the congress of Azerbaijanis in RM, Vuar Navruzov, who presented books collection to the University and established a scholarship to the best student of the SAUM.
The Republic of Moldova was widely represented by the students from the Tourism course, supported by Svetlana Lazar, President of the National Association of Rural, Ecological and Cultural Tourism (ANTREC).
The “International Day” also attended Snezhana BLAGOIEVA(EU Higher Grade Specialist Ruralnomu development and agriculture, Bulgaria); Tatyana IVANOVA representative Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CULS), Czech Republic ; Daniela DRĂGALIN, representative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Moldova;) Victoria BUTMALAI, representative of the Department of International Relations and European Integration of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova, Radu MUNTEANU, The head of the department for combating illegal migration, the National Office for Migration and Refugees.
The real surprise of this feast was “Fifty Five” rock-group performance, that shared the public with bright emotions.
The organization and party host were Viorel ȘTIRBU, also students of Business Administration course with study in English: Ștefan APOSTOL and Ana VÎRLAN, in cooperation with Students' union, student government and Department of International Relations SAUM.
