In April 1-3, 2019, members of the eDrone project implementation team (574090-EPP-1-2016-1-IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) Mr. Oleg Stiopca, University Professor and Mr. Artur Goia, participated in a workshop in Minsk city, Republic of Belorus. Workshop were also attended by the remaining 18 partner institutions of the project from 6 countries. The workshops were dedicated to examples of the use of the drones in various areas of the Belarussian economy. At the Belarus workshop, the eDrone team made several visits to specialized drones manufacturing and use companies. Team members have found that the Republic of Belorus is quite advanced in the field of drones. In the same time, during the event, the members of the eDrone team from SAUM had a meeting with the Rector of the State Technological University of Belorus, Mr. Igor Voitov, and at the Department of International Relations of the University, where they made a presentation and distributed brochures about our university.
The next eDrone project workshop will be held in June in Chisinau.
eDrone aims to develop an innovative Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) infrastructure that uses improved technologies and methodologies to enable all partner countries to create a network for the exchange of experiences, educational resources and databases for professionals. The project is co-funded by Erasmus +, a program of the European Union.
